General Motors assumes that you have the platform, at least for now, developing a luxury hybrid vehicle, so it is said that it has canceled plans to develop the base of Cadillac SRX crossover plug-in formats.

Toyota is all set to launch its new Prius V 2012 , a larger version and more practice of Japanese hybrid.
The design of this car meant the extension of the platform of the old Prius all its dimensions, adding width and length in order to provide greater height and interior space.

The cargo space increased by 5%, while legroom in all seats will grow about 2 inch. The weight also increased by about 115 kilograms, but even so, fuel economy will continue between the 4.6-liter (highway) and 5.1 liters (urban) to 100 kilometers.
Among the most notable change is expected in this new version of the Prius are:
- Largest tailgate
- Torsional rigidity increases by 5 percent
- New 215/50 series tires mounted on 17 inch wheels
- Hybrid Synergy Drive revised to 134 hp
The Prius V, which hits the market this fall, will be one of the 4 cars Toyota is expected to lead the market for an alternative engine cars with the original Prius, plug-in Prius in 2012 and a new model smaller than is presumed to be based on the concept Prius C.

The massive General Electric reported a few days ago, will buy a lot of electric cars. A very important news for the companies already sell these vehicles in the United States as Chevrolet and Nissan (soon be made official), Volt and Leaf respectively.
