McLaren is studying the reasons why a MP4-12C crashed in the Green Hell (Nurburgring) during a Hot Lap in which it was intended to beat the course record for a production car with standard…The pilot has left no serious damage but the impact has been tremendous.
The spokesman for McLaren states that still do not know if it was human error or technical failure, and that “although the supine, we would not yet reveal. Apparently the car was traveling at high speed in the area Antoniusbuche when he disappeared for a moment under the trees with a loud sound of skidding . Then we heard a tremendous impact and quickly closed a truck came to take the remains. After an hour of work, the area was reopened to the public and the impact zone appeared as “under construction” although there was evidence of an accident on the barriers and spills everywhere.
There is still no picture or video of the accident , and it is doubtful they ever appear because it can not be very good publicity for McLaren. With this and go two the MP4-12C that have been wrecked , and that there are not many still around.

I’ve always been in favor of the premium brands should have a supercar to delineate how far they can go with their technology, and I have the feeling that Mercedes in 2003 gave it all by the SLR McLaren.
A silver bullet
Invaluable collaboration with McLaren, the car became just outside the market in a reasonably priced supercar, the subject of desire for typical buyers as footballers, “I remember when the police stopped one-Reyes.
And it is logical, style is simply beautiful because it retains much of a normal Mercedes but aggressively, styling the nose as possible and giving a really brutal.
Plenty of power
The Mercedes SLR has an engine placed in the front but very late, which has a maximum power of 626 hp thanks to its eight cylinders accompanied by compressors.
Perhaps the weakest point of the car are its almost 1800 Kg of weight, something that prevents you from doing a 0-100 in 3.7 seconds and 10 seconds off the 0-200, really impressive and figures needed to play this league.
