F1: Renault Lotus now, what will become of Lotus? 0
We have solved half of a soap opera this winter break in Formula 1. Both Proton (owner of Group Lotus) and Renault have confirmed that next season will participate jointly in the world championship. The final name is Lotus Renault GP and have announced that their war colors are black and gold.
And I say that this be resolved half of the movie because it still needs to know that today will be the Lotus team. The Malaysian team will have to settle for being the main course of Lotus, despite having the approval of the heirs of Anthony Colin Bruce and work in the original facilities. Do you settle for this deal? Will they try to appear as Team Lotus as intended? Input will have to continue using the colors green and yellow to decorate the cars and we’ll see if I can keep the name or the end will have to choose the name 1Malasya.
Anyway, the new Renault GP Team Lotus promises a step forward in its aspirations, as the technology partnership will enable them to build a car even more competitive than the current Renault. Also said Proton’s interest in the Russian market, so we can assume that Vitaly Petrov keep that seat at Renault next to Robert Kubica.
