The E-type has reached its golden anniversary, his half-century, and that’s worth celbrarlo. As the sculptor Gerry Judah memorial has been commissioned to create sculpture that presides over the festival of Speed at Goodwood, being one of the few times that it represents a modern car.
The sculpture is 28 meters high and has been cast using steel pipes of 12mm thick for gas used. It weighs 150 tons and if pusiésemos all tubes in a row, the length would be 500 meters. Most of the steel has been donated by Tata Steel, a subsidiary of Tata, as it is Jaguar.
The sculptor says the E-Type is a car known for its shape but too small to carry out this type of idea, so he decided to build one to suggest the ways of the coupe, which everyone recognizes at a glance.

Jaguar is hatching a new plan to regain the confidence of all the devotees who lost during the disastrous “years Mondeo.”
The manufacturer has stopped worrying about the endless luggage and decided to venture into the segment of high performance hatchbacks, German field hitherto fiercely guarded by the BMW 1 Series, Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3.
As we mentioned in previous articles, the home of British lineage is currently on the drawing board several projects: a crossover, a two-seater roadster and even a new coupe version of the XJ, but a hatchback is a surprising news for the public motor lover to German builders.
The engine Jaguar’s future is likely to come from the turbocharged four-cylinder engines – both petrol and diesel being developed by Tata, who may use the base of the Land Rover Evoke-in hatckback tentatively due out in late 2013 as 2014 model for a 25,000 Euros not too outrageous.
As seen growth by leaps and bounds of the economy has inspired India to update Tata bid for Jaguar to offer in the area by a vehicle that represents “newly acquired status’ of the new wealthy in the same way as BMW and Mercedes -Benz dominated the market in China after its opening and expansion of trade.
